Garuda Indonesia Open Direct Flights Medan - Jeddah
PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk officially opened the field of direct flights to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Thursday (01/05/2014). These airlines served from Makassar with route Makassar-Medan-Jeddah.
According to the Director of Marketing and Sales Garuda Indonesia, Erik Meijer to the opening of routes to Jeddah from Makassar and Medan will make it easier for service users to be able to carry out worship Umrah, especially for the service users in Sulawesi and Sumatra.
The opening of this Flight is part of an effort called Garuda Indonesia to expand its flight network in the international, as well as to meet the needs of service users.
"The Garuda service users especially those from the Makassar, Medan and surrounding areas will now be able to carry out more easily worship to Umrah, for the first day's flight from Medan around 366 people," said Erik.
On the first day of the Jeddah flights Garuda Indonesia conducted a ceremonial event in Kuala Namu International Airport (KNIA). The event was also attended by Vice Governor of North Sumatra, Tengku Erry Nuradi. (Tribunnws)
