Jeddah passport control officer 'manhandled' impatient passenger
Jeddah - A passport control officer at Jeddah airport is to be reprimanded after allegedly “manhandling” a passenger who attempted to skip the queue, according to Arab News.
Recorded video footage showed the Saudi male passenger, who had arrived from Germany, demanded his passport be quickly stamped despite others ahead of him in the separate queue for GCC residents.
When he moved ahead of waiting passengers, the passport control officer left his desk and reportedly physically forced him back.
King Abdulaziz International Airport authorities intervened and have said action would be taken against the officer. (arabnews.com)
